I still haven’t really played Gaijin Charenji 1: Kiss or Kill yet, since both of the achievements I’ve now gotten were in the opening menu screens. But, I’ll be honest: I’m looking forward to getting to this one. It looks pretty crazy weird.

Things began kicking off in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden this week, as I reached the point in the game where my choices would branch and I’d have to replay. This meant I could quickly begin sprinting to the end to get my endings. Sadly, some wires got crossed somewhere and as I reached the end of my “resurrection” playthrough on Friday I found myself watching the “normal” ending. Confused, I loaded my branch save and ran through the other one, finding another “normal” ending. It was pretty frustrating, but it looks like you need about 13 of a choice through Haunting Cases to get that ending. Running through a few and sacrificing/blaming settlers before trying again, I finally got my resurrection ending on Saturday! Along with an achievement marked missable that is very easy to miss out on. I also managed to finish the achievement involving the Soul Grabbers, so I won’t have to really concern myself with those as I play through again, but I also didn’t really need to go out of my way for them before; I needed only around nine by the time I reached the branching point of the second “oath” to Antea. And now the real task begins: complete every Haunting Case (picking the ascension choices), grab all the collectibles and gear, and get the rest of the money and upgrades I need. I could be using a guide to make it go more efficiently, but I’m kinda having fun just exploring the map. We’ll see how that effects my final completion time!

I needed an achievement on Tuesday as I worked on Banishers, so I turned to ACA NEOGEO The King of Fighters 2000 to get one quick. But, since I only needed two achievements and it’d take less than ten minutes to get them, I figured I’d just knock this game out! Quick, easy, yuck fighting games.

Alright, let’s get this over with.
Instead of hitting the final online achievement in DUCATI - 90th Anniversary: The Official Videogame all at once, I kinda sprinkled it throughout the week, getting the achievement for my twenty total wins. At least now I can just focus on finishing the offline races and not fret about the online becoming discontinued somehow… I’d rather tempt fate as little as possible.
