With the TrueAchievements 12 Days of Christmas challenges more or less settled, it was time to actually work on the games I’d started. I’ve been kinda dipping in and out of DUCATI - 90th Anniversary: The Official Videogame where needed. The game is pretty easy (so far), and I’ve mostly been starting work on the online because with my luck somehow it’ll all go discontinued before I get around to it. It’s only playing 20 matches online, so I’m just double-boxing here and there. It’s… pretty boring, and I’m sick of looking at the French Riviera. But, hey, I’m not too worried about it!

It was a slow week in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, but that’s not unexpected for an action-RPG of this size. Most of the time is spent exploring nooks and crannies for collectibles/supplies while another huge chunk is listening to characters talk. I could skip the dialogue, but I’m actually enjoying the story, the characters are well-written, and the script is engaging. I also like how the world is open, but not too open, allowing me to stray from the main path in short bursts to grab some flowers or take out a Nest. I’m not really sure where I’m at in the playthrough, but I’m making okay progress. I also haven’t really run into much in the way of challenge, so I think keeping up with all these side-objectives is keeping me leveled and stronger than what I’m facing.
