Still playing The Outlast Trials almost nightly with TommyToday and Gh0st Who Walks… well, until they left on vacation on Thursday so we had to stop. I’m making great progress, and finally started getting some of the “achiefailments” for dying and reviving teammates when we switched to the roguelike mode, Escalation Therapy. Lacking our favorite Rigs and without our various upgrades, plus an increasing difficulty, it doesn’t take long in a run to start getting wrecked. But it livens up the challenge a bit (especially for my teammates that have been playing over a week longer than I have) and still counted for progression so why not? I’ll get back to this when they get back… in about another week. Even while playing, though, I’ll likely need to start being more diligent about having a parallel game to play to keep my streak as the achievements are drying up a tad.

Oh well that’s wholesome and totally normal.
I did it. I freaking finished Dishonored FINALLY. Blowing through the final mission of Knife of Dunwall in full “High Chaos” stabby stabby murder mode was very quick and easy, and then it was onto the third and final add-on: The Brigmore Witches. I didn’t realize you continue playing as Daud, and even get to carry over your progress from the previous DLC. I used my High Chaos playthrough so I had more upgrades and money, which was good because probably the toughest achievement this time is to complete the entire add-on in Low Chaos while also collecting 10000 gold. You have to REALLY scrounge and probably follow a detailed guide to do this in a self-contained playthrough, but instead I took some of that pressure off by starting with around 4k gold. I had to save a lot and managed to get the achievement, getting enough just as I approached the final room. Kinda cutting it close, but a win is a win! Of course I also didn’t kill anyone or get spotted for those usual achievements. The High Chaos run for this one was by far the quickest, and I finished it directly after my first run. WOO! Done, complete, over. And I’ll never ever touch the stacks.

Decided to start up Turnip Boy Robs a Bank on Saturday before the kiddo and I ventured off on another adventure. It was a short one, and we’d be back a day later, but I wanted to get to this one anyway before it left Game Pass. I only played the first run into the bank, but I like it so far!
