I kept using Chip and Charge as long as I could to continue my streak between eating good local foods and lounging on the beach. The opponents got a little more annoying, but it never got “hard”. You’ll have all the achievement-related characters unlocked well before you reach the necessary 10 match wins, and to make those wins easier you can just play the tutorial which ends in a match where you can’t lose. The very definition of a baby game. I feel dirty.

With Chip and Charge all cleaned up, I still had two days of travel to cover! Luckily, I had ole stand-by Minecraft on hand, and due to the recent update there were achievements to get. First up, I loaded into the Windows version for one. Then the next day loaded up the Android version. Nice, quick, and easy before a 24-hour drive home.

After passing the frick out early Saturday morning when I got home, it was time to game again! I decided to start easy and play/complete PAW Patrol: Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay which had been announced as leaving the Game Pass library at the end of August. It’s even easier and shorter than the last one I did, this one being a very linear and simple platformer. There are 7000+ dog treats to collect, but you just need to grab them along the way while completing levels. Helpfully, when you replay a level the dog treats you’d picked up previously are colored differently so you can tell what you need. Best thing: it didn’t get too old by the time my almost exactly three hours with the game had wrapped up. A relaxing return home!
